The Ki and Aikido Association of Romania is a non-profit organisation whose purpose is to cultivate the martial art of Ki Aikido and the Coordination of Mind and Body for people's daily lives.
This objective is achieved through teaching Aikido techniques, Ki principles, Ki Breathing, Ki Meditation, and Kiatsu, as well as their applications in everyday life. The Ki and Aikido Association of Romania was founded by Sensei Mihai Dulgheru.
Sensei Mihai Dulgheru began practising Ki Aikido in 1997, becoming the student of Sensei Ion Adrian and Mervyn Williams Sensei, Technical Director of The Ki School of Aikido Britain.
Sensei Mervyn Williams was the student and assistant of Sensei Ken Williams, founder of The Ki Federation of Great Britain. He was the first non-Japanese assistant of a Japanese instructor, Kenshiro Abbe Sensei, later practising alongside Koichi Tohei Sensei, founder of Shin Shin Toitsu Aikido (Ki Aikido).
